Number 1 for a reason

I'm at a Panera Bread just up the road from Mum & Dad's. While the food is the same as the Panera Bread I worked for in Orlando (the busiest in the world), everything else is lacking. OK so it's cleaner, but it's newer, and by the looks of it, a lot less busy. They give you a number instead of asking for your name for the order, and they're slow as heck. They'd never cut it up at my store. Plus, their prices are a lot higher.

Next time I come to use their free internet, I'll only get something like a coke.

Lazy Days of Winter

I feel guilty saying this after hearing of Europe's incredibly cold weather, but I've spent most of the week sunbathing. After last week's awesome job, I havn't been called in for anyhitng this week, but from the sounds of it, that may change next week. More on that as it develops.

I fancy going to the movies tonight. But what to see?

New Job

I was going walking to the comic book shop this evening, when I saw a 30-something, boring looking buisnessman walk towards the door. "He can't be going to the comic shop" I though. But lo, as I was checking out the new issues of "X-Men" there he was, picking out these really nerdy as hell comic books. It takes all types, eh?

I also stopped by one of my old schools to see if there was anyone left, which there was, but only one was in at the time. Good people.

Oh yeah, my new job. I work for a newer, classier agency that sends me out to do multimedia work. This week I was at a construction company. While the work was easy, and the drive wasn't as big of a headache, the real payoff was the pay. I won't say exactly how much, but it was quite alot. Quite.

Orlando

I'm in Orlando.

We're going to sell the apartment, so we've come up to make sure it looks nice. I'm staying out of that one. I don't think I need the stress.

Oh yeah, Mum & Dad said I needed to get my hair cut. So, reluctantly, I did. I paid too much money and I think it looks gay. Oh well. I start a new job assignment next week that pays quite a bit, so things might be looking up.

This weekend.

So, uh... what did you do this weekend? What did we do... lets see...

I started a horrible weekend job to earn extra cash working for a local pizza place. After finding out how the place is run, I don't think I'll be eating there, ohhh, ever.

What else... Oh that's right. Mum and Dad got in a horrific car accident in Miami. Some loser rear-ended them knocking them into the other lane. Luckily no one was hurt in either car, but Mum's car may now be totaled.

So yeah. How was your weekend?

Searching for Teacher

Mum told me my old art teacher now works at the high school where her friend works. Mum said it was Weston High School. Now when I left, Weston didn't have a high school, they instead used Western High School. So I went there, and they had never heard of either my art teacher, or Mum's friend. So I went to Evergaldes high, which is just down the street from Mum's friend and was still under construction when I left nearly five years ago. But they hadn't heard of them either. It turns out they're at another high school actually in Weston that I'd never even heard of. So there's me racing around western broward county going to every high school I know, when they were somewhere else entirely.

What was weird was when I got to Everglades high, the end of the day bell rang and all the kids left class. It felt really strange to be walking around all these high school kids when it felt like only yesterday I was there myself. I felt like a 'Made' coach.

Crappy Pizza

New years was awesome. I went downtown with Oliver, his sister, Phong, and a bunch of other people. A great time was had by all.

Now on to other things. Ever since I moved back to the states, I've wanted to try Domino's steak fanatic pizza. Well I finally tired it tonight and it tastes like shit. The cheese isn't normal pizza cheese, it's some sort of crappy liquid cheese that looks like boogers and states like stale milk. The steak didn't taste like real steak either. It cerntainly wasn't the kick ass meal Oliver's Mum made for us New Year's Day. Maybe it's just a crappy pizza that I wasted my hard earned money on.
