This is probably the most interesting thing that's happened over the last six weeks.
A few months ago, I needed a new pair of socks. Rather than just buying normal ones, I decided to splash out and buy an expensive pair, since socks are pretty important when you think about it.
But the Saturday before the lockdown, and the last day the laundrette was open, I lost one of the socks. The laundrette couldn't find it, and it wasn't here at home. I figured I must have left it in the machine, and someone else took it by accident, for it to never be seen again.
Until last week. I was walking to the high street along the normal path I take on a Saturday morning, and I saw the missing sock under a bush in the park! It was now covered in grass and bugs, but it didn't looked ripped or anything. After hand washing it in boiling water, and putting it in the washing machine twice, my fancy expensive socks are back!
