Qualifications

In preparation for Mum's trip to South Florida, I found that we need proof of vaccination. I thought that her little blue cards, stamped when we were vaccinated, would suffice. But Jen pointed out that they don't have enough identifiable information on them, and Mum would need the app. Which kickstarted a mad dash for Mum to get approval to login to the app, and even trying to print off physical copies of vaccination proof. Travelling was so much easier in the past, that's for sure!

Open Ranking

The CrossFit Open 2023 has finished. Mum came along to the final day to meet everyone and see what happens during a workout. When all was said and done, I came roughly 154,000th in the world, out of 300,000+. Which isn't great. Buuut, if look at men in England in my age group doing the same scaled down workout that I did, I'm in the top 150. So that's a bit better, I suppose. "Leave your ego at the door", they say when you start. And then put your score on the board to compare it to everyone else's. Hmmm...
