Christmas Has Been Cancelled
So says the Prime Minister. And it has, for large portions of southeast England. I was hoping for Jen to come back down after Christmas to stay again, but now London is included in the new "tier 4" lockdown, which means that idea's off the table. What's even more frightening is that I've read rumblings that they might not ease this lockdown until after all vulnerable people have been vaccinated. Which could take months.
All because of this new mutant strain of the virus, which apparently spreads "70% more" than before. Which also means that the rest of Europe have completely cut us off, and less than two weeks before Brexit as well. What a messy end to a messy year.

Ears And Toes
I've had a wart on the bottom of my big toe for several years. Gross, I know, but it's about to get grosser. Earlier in the ear, it seemed like there were more appearing on the same toe. The almighty N.H.S. doesn't want anything to do with it, so I had to go to a private podiatrist. We've been trying for several months now to use acid to burn them off, but nothing is working and it's getting worse.
Then there's my ears. For many years, I've had itchy ears, but again, earlier in the year it got worse, as now whatever it is has decided to surround the outside of my ear as well. At least my G.P. decided to help out this time, but I think it's probably eczema or psoriasis, neither of which is curable. And now it seems to have spread to my eyelids.
Apparently all of this is due to stress, or perhaps diet. I doubt my stress levels will be getting better anytime soon, so that just leaves diet. Which doesn't sound to appealing either, really.
