It Came Home
The England Women's football team has just won the European Championship. After 56 years, England has finally won a major football trophy. And once again, we beat Germany at Wembley in extra time. Which is very ironic.

Last week I spent three days in London. This was because Ed and his family were over, so we all met up for dinner, and I didn't want the dreaded commute back here to be hanging over me all evening. Sadly, the evening we _did_ come back was a disaster due to train delays. Never change, Network Rail.
Then there was the Lymington Seafood Festival. We normally go on a Saturday afternoon, but decided to take Friday off work, and go that morning. It was lovely, as there were no queues, and not too many people that you couldn't find a seat. From what I saw of Saturday and Sunday, they weren't as lucky!
Unfortunately, that evening I seem to have contracted something that Dr. Google says is novovirus. I will spare you the gruesome details, but it has meant we've had to reschedule our trip to see the new Thor movie twice, and I'm still not back to normal, health-wise. It's been pretty bad, and ruined any other plans we might have had for the lovely sunny weekend.
At least I have that air conditioner everyone told me I wouldn't need, now the the Hottest Day In The History Of Britain has finally arrived. My little unit may be noisy, but at least it works.
