Window Views

Since I moved into my current apartment three years ago, the only thing I can honestly say I miss, is the fact that my living room used to face west. Because I was on the top floor, I could sit on the settee, and watch the sunset. I do have a lovely view from my new living room, at least until the neighbour decides to chop down more trees. The only good thing about having my flat the wrong way around is that I can sit in my hammock chair in my bedroom and watch the sunset. Which makes me feel like a cat, laying in a sunbeam.

An Uncertain Future

Next month, Jen and I are going to Florida! It's going to be lovely showing her where I used to hang out. Not to mention Disney World!

Meanwhile, back in London, things aren't so rosey. My contract with John Lewis, which was supposed to run until the end of the year, is now ending a week and a half before we go on holiday. As it takes between a week and a month to get a new contract somewhere else, my ten days off has turned into one to two months off!
