Christmas Is Coming

Thanksgiving was on Thursday, which means it's officially the Christmas season! The next event on the social calendar is the work Christmas party. I'd better be prepared!

Oh, and that Mercedes wasn't covered with sparkly paint, it was covered in Swarovski crystals. To each their own...

Diamond

I see the gold Ferrari 458 most days when I'm walking home. But today I also saw a Mercedes CLS with a sparkly paint job that makes it look like it's covered in diamonds. Welcome to Chelsea.

Hospital

Mum is back in hospital, but hopefully not for very long. She should be back home on Tuesday.

Last week I went to see the poppies around the Tower of London. Each poppy represents a soldier killed during the Great War. There was some talk of the poppies staying for much longer, but the original artist said it would lose it's meaning, and they have already started removing them.

Earphones

Shortly after I started my internship back in 2005, I was given some earphones by a friend who was working there full time. He no longer wanted them, and I didn't really have any nice ones. These were the earphones I later took with me every time I went to the beach and used when listening to music at home. One of the earpieces died while I was in New York, and this evening, the other one has gone too. A good run, considering I got them for free nine years ago.
