Back in the 90s, we used to have family picnics in what was then called Upper Hamble Park. Sadly, these picnics seemed to stop a few years ago. But we just had our first in ages last Sunday. It was great to catch up with so many people, but I do feel bad I didn't get to talk to everyone. We're such a big family now!
Remember how last month I said "at least I have an air conditioner"? Downstairs asked if I could not run it overnight, as it keeps them awake. So much for that.
A BBQ packed weekend, as I went to visit friends in Bournemouth last Saturday, and had a family get-together on Sunday. We'll be having a big, old fashioned family reunion soon, but it looks like the heat waves are over for the year. Let's hope the rain stays away. We had thunder today!
