So Was It White?

Yes and no.

It wasn't when I woke up, but when we went up to Reading, it had snowed up there. So I'll take it.

On Boxing Day we went to a country pub to watch the mummers and morris dancers. Now that's something you don't see everyday...

I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas

Just like the ones I never knew! (But always dreamed of!)

It looks like for the first time ever, I might get a White Christmas! Now that's what I call a welcome home! Of course the British media is, as usual, doing their upmost to make it into the end of the world. But that's why I don't pay attention to them any more. I'm paying attention to ol' Bing Crosby!

I hear New York had 20" of snow last weekend as well. Snow. "Infooooormer!"

Twice A Year

It's snowing for the second time this year! Only thing is, the first time it was snowing was in New York! For me anyway. I think England had lots of snow earlier this year as well. It looks like it's melting quite quickly, but I don't think I can remember the last time it snowed this side of Christmas while I was in Europe. Exciting!

A Blast From The Past

Over at Maria's we were watching old videos from the 80s and early 90s. There was footage of very bad hair and loads of shell suits. Shell suits! Remember them! There was Boxing Day at our old house, and one video had footage of Nan's flat, which I haven't seen in 15 years. Incredible!

For a brief moment, it was like I never left.

All Over Weekend

Went back to The Forest last night. Still think it's a bit odd that I'm going to be here forever (maybe) and will get to hang out with people all the time. Awesome!

Lewis came down from London on friday night. Being a big city guy for the last four years changes your outlook on things, so it was nice to chat with another big city guy as we roamed around a strangley empty Southampton. It wasn't so nice to get completely drenched walking home. Man alive, the wind changes direction on a dime over here! I thought the weather was supposed to be more predictable in England. That's global warming for you.
