A Weekend In The City

It's Jen's birthday this weekend, so I went up to London and we had some very nice meals out. Including one that probably goes down as the most expensive meal we've ever had. Good thing it was fantastic.

We also went to Jen's gym. She does "spin class", which is where you all ride an exercise bike for the entirety of the class, and move in rhythm to the music. It was a different change of pace to what I'm used to, and was fun trying it out. But I think I'll stick to CrossFit for now. It did make me realise how comfortable I have become in my exercise clothes. They're like a superhero costume or something.

One thing I did find funny was that our gym experiences are like in the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The lady's is posh and trendy, while the man's is very spit-n-sawdust, haha!
