Just when I thought I was out...

Florida re-enters my life.

It was great seeing everyone again. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we both really enjoyed Universal Studios. Ft. Lauderdale beach is far nicer than I remember as well. Disney was way to overcrowded to enjoy it properly. When I look back at Maria & Jim's trip in '92, and our visit in '86, it looked like it was going out of business back then!

But I'm not going to pretend like South Florida didn't try it's best to kick me in the teeth. Again. So many things went wrong, it would read like an essay if I wrote them all down. Safe enough to say, there are now several other companies that have found their way onto my Blacklist. Make sure you know everything about your hotel before you book, and check your rental car for slow punctures.

I'm just so glad I have such great friends; who always make everything better again!

Getting Ready For Florida

I've had the last week off from work, and it's been bliss. Except for someone dinging my car door, but hey, at least I'm getting better at reversing it into the garage. I've also got a few more animated cels from The Real Ghostbusters, so they're now on the wall in the spare room.

When we get back from Florida, it seems I'm going back to John Lewis until the end of January. Which is good news, I guess. At least it's guaranteed work.
