Seismic Shift
This is one of the longest periods I've been out of work since I left university. The only other times that were longer were: when I left my job in Sydney to when I started working in Bournemouth, and of course the eight months it took me to get a job when this blog started in the first place.
What's next? One option is going back to full-time, although I don't know if I can command the salary needed to maintain my apartment here, and the room I rent in London. Which means I would either have to commute to London every single day, or find a job here locally. Either way, I wouldn't be able to see Jen during the week. So I'm in a bit of a dilemma. Of course I realise I should obviously have renewed that "stressful" contract I turned down at the beginning of the summer, but hindsight is always 20/20, and it feels like it's been a while since I made a truly daft decision.
The weather's been great, though.
