For the second time in a row, England made it to the finals of the European Championship. And for the second time in a row, they came up short. But we considering how poor our form was 1950 to about 2018 (ignoring '66 obviously), I'd say we did pretty good. Personally, I thought we'd be out in the quarter-finals like normal.
Tuesday was the annual Sway Carnival pub quiz. This year's theme was "animation". Which considering I've been a far of cartoons forever, made me feel like I had been preparing my whole life for this.
The question & answer part was only about ⅓ to do with animation, and our team came in joint third place. But the picture round was 20 characters, and you had to say the name of the character, and the movie series in which they appeared. Well, one of them was from a television show, but as I kicked off about B. A. Baracus's name last year, I didn't want to do it again and get a reputation. Anyway, I think we came second in that round. The funny part is the characters who names I'd forgotten, I could remember their voice actors. No points for that, though.
