Dolphins In London

The Miami Dolphins play the New York Giants today at the New Wembly. Seeing as how the 'fins are 0-7, I think I know what the outcome's going to be. I do think it was funny when they interviewed rugby players about american football and they all made fun of them. The dolphins then responded by making fun of the rugby uniforms. Really lads, is that the best you can come up with?

Oh and I officially handed in my month and a half resignation at work. Boss took it better than I thought, but I'm going to feel really bad if they don't have anyone by the time I leave.

At Least Southampton Won

So England lost the Rugby World Cup, and Lewis Hamilton screwed up the F1 World Championship. It's just like I said at the World Cup last year, I think we're a nation of 'nearly theres'. At least it was Raikkonen instead of the big baby Alonso, although I feel bad for McLaren seeing as how a few months ago, they had the constructors champtionship, and 1st and 2nd place driver's championships.

Still, it's not the end of the world.

The Game We Thought Would Never Come

If you were an adolecent or teenage boy during the 1990s, you are no doubt familiar with Street Fighter II. If you are me, or we're part of my 'posse', you we not doubt obsessive over it.

Alas, after SFIII: Third Strike and the demise of not only the arcades, but 2-D fighting games in general, we thought we'd seen the last of the 'real SF games (the 'vs.' games not withstanding).

Check. This. Out.

Swings & Roundabouts

They jacked up the toll on the causeway to $1.50, and I only started taking it two weeks ago. Then I get to publix and after standing in line for 15 minutes, realise I left my wallet in my car and had to walk all the way back to get it, then all the way back to publix. And due to the construction and that damn hotel, I had to park as far away as humanly possible.

But Chocolate Special K is The Greatest Ceral In The World and last night's Top Gear was probably the best ever!

This Morning

It's my day off today, and I went to the dentist this morning and found out I needed to have a filling done. So I did it there and then as I had time, but it certainly doesnt make my day off any nicer.

Even though I'm not at work, it still feels like a monday. It feels like a monday I'm not at work (which it is, duh), but it doesn't feel like a sunday. Even when I spend my saturdays doing wht I do on sundays, it doesnt feel the same. It's as if sunday has a feel all of it's own. And I'm certainly going to miss my sundays when I move.

On The Horizon

I've only bought one game for my wii so far, but there's about half a dozen games coming out in the next few months I'm thinking about getting. Everything videogames is going to have to go on hold for a while when I first move up though.

I was thinking of telling my boss early, as I don't know how long it will take to train my replacement, and I don't fancy leaving them with a sour taste in their mouths by leaving them high and dry.

Still, I did have to wait for over a year to get hired fulltime...
