Really Expensive Haircut

I went for the most expensive haircut I've ever had today. I don't know if you've seen me lately, dear reader, but my hair was really long. I went to a place recommended to me by a friend, and from appearances, it was good, the girl was cute, and the prices reassuring enough that I was going to get my money's worth.

I started off well and at one point thought "this is going to be the best haircut ever". But when I left, I realised I looked like Kaite Holmes.

It's odd how this blog used to not go a day without talking about whatever car I just saw, and now I've devoted a whole post to hair.

...

This'll make up for it!

Batman Was Great!

The Dark Knight is probably the best comic book movie ever. The whole film is non-stop memorable scenes with performances that make you can't wait fo rthe next scene! There's no way they can top this one for the sequel.

I'm doing a bit of freelancing for a friend today to earn a little (and I do mean little) bit on the side. I finally finished my big project at work (with maybe a few minor tweeks to go), and I think the tech department seem to think that I'm trying to show them up by doing everything by-the-book, when our own website clearly isnt.

Not my fault guys!

Batman!

I'm finally seeing 'The Dark Knight' tommorrow in IMAX. I get the feeling that I could have the highest hopes in the world, and they would still be beaten. I have to get myself psyched up again and prepared to be blown away!

Both my boss, and his boss are going to be away on monday and tuesday, so it will be a nice break from the overload of this week. Someone pointed out that my vacation did my career a world of good as it showed how valuable I am. I don't know if that's the case, but it did seem like people were waiting for me to get back so they could all pounce on me with work!

Family Updates

Just back from England, and I'm having to air out my flat even though the window was open. I also just got my electricity bill from last month. Yikes!

Clare had a baby boy! Which is great news, and both mother and son are doing well. I didn't get to see the baby myself, but I'm glad I was over there for it.

More updates on my VHS to DVD conversion. It would be $300 if I buy a machine, and about $100 if I want to do it on the computer. But I heard there is shops that do it for you, so I'll have to look into that.

If anyone is planning on flying Air India becuase its cheaper, be warned! They are a bit of a joke. The seats have no legroom, the in-seat entertanment set-up seems to have a mind of its own, and they didn't even have enough customs cards to hand out!
