Back On The Market, Again
My contract has been cut short by two months. This is incredibly inconvenient, as the government is bringing in new tax laws to effectively make contracting so worthless, it will destroy the entire industry. I've written to my local member of parliament, and it seems big businesses also don't want this law passed, but seeing as how governments aren't very good at listening to people, I don't think we're going to come out of this with our way of life intact.
The potential temporary light at the end of the tunnel for me is that this contract might need me back in about two months. But knowing business, it'll be longer than that. And what with the four months I had off last year, I really can't afford much more time off at the moment. All we can do it pray at this point.
