Further Down The Rabbit Hole
As the world falls apart more and more, I've stopped paying into my investments and pensions, in order to save as much money as possible. I'll probably have to lose the place in London at the end of the month to save even more, which will be a massive shame. But if the near impossible happens, and when this is over I get a contract or job in London that covers the bills, hopefully it might still be available.
Shamefully, I was one of "those" people today, who ran to the supermarket when I heard they just got toilet paper. While I already had more than enough to last me a year coming into the crisis, I wasn't so sure that my elderly neighbours or Mum and Dad had enough to last them the length of the quarantine. So to make me feel at ease, I bought a 16 pack. I could have bought two, but one doesn't want to go overboard, does one.
I'm also going to see if the bank can give me one of those "mortgage holidays" the Chancellor mentioned. I doubt my business would qualify for a grant, so that's my next best option.
