Trusty Broom

After I moved in here nearly ten years ago, I bought a broom. And today that broom's handle has finally snapped in half. Considering the age, how much I use it, and the fact that it's kept outside, I think it's done quite well. I might keep the now-shorter broom on the patio, and maybe buy another cheap one for the garage. Although to to be fair, I have an old one in there Mum gave me ages ago. We'll see how we get on.

Early this month, Jen and I went to the Tim Burton exhibit at the Design Museum in London. For anyone in our age group, Tim Burton has been a big influence, and everyone has their favourite of his films. It was also really cool to see his early work and sketches from when he worked at Disney and before.

Burger Kings

Jen and I have gotten really, really good at making hamburgers over the last few years. So good in fact, that when we go to "gourmet" burger places in London, we often agree that the ones me make at home are even better.

The next step is to try and make our own buttermilk fried chicken burgers, as we're also a fan of those. But they require quite a bit more planning and prep, so we might not make those as often.
