All In

This passed Sunday, my friends and I went to Wembley Stadium and attended the biggest professional wrestling show in history. A few years ago we went to Wembley Arena to watch NXT Takeover. But this was AEW All In, the follow-up to the original All In five years ago that became the biggest independent wrestling show ever, and directly led to the creation of All Elite Wrestling.

Being a part of the crowd, and singing along with the theme songs was a truly memorable experience. Trying to get on the Tube afterwards was also memorable, but not for the same reasons. Hoo boy!

It Almost Came Home

The England Women's football team just put forth a strong display in the World Cup Final, but sadly could not muster enough goals to win the day. It's fantastic for the sport nationally that we were able to get that far, but a lot of people were hoping for us to win the tournament, after we won the Euros a few years ago. Still, they're a team we are proud to call our own.

A Different Dutch Trip

While this was far from my first trip to Middelburg without Dad, it was the first since he'd gone. And the first in about five years; mostly due to the pandemic. Mum came as well, since she hadn't been over for quite some time.

It was great catching up with the family, and hearing about what everyone's been up to in the last few years. Hopefully I can make it back again next year. At the very least, I won't be waiting five years again!
