Back To Work

After over four weeks off, I have a new contract starting Monday. The day rate is the most I've ever earned, but it's in a tricky location to commute. For the first time in over 15 years, it feels like I'm going back to school after summer holidays.

But I did make a trip to London last Friday, as I went to see wrestling again in York Hall. We had front row seats this time, and they were certainly worth it. The show was great, and when you're in the front, the performers interact with you much more. I just hope I wasn't caught on camera doing anything embarrassing!

Frustrating

It seems that, although there are many contract roles around, I cannot seem to secure one for myself. I've now been off for nearly three weeks. What's more frustrating than the lost money, is that I could have at least done something with my time. I've not been back to Holland for nearly two years. This would have been the perfect time to go back, but because I have no idea when I'm going to have an interview or a new contract, it means I'm a prisoner. But a prisoner with video games, a big television, and a wealth of old books, magazines, and toys. So a prisoner in Scandinavia, then.
