Learning To Adapt

Mum has taken on a lot of responsibility with Dad being home now, but she seems to be doing fine. There should be yet another machine on it's way that can help make things easier. Hopefully, anyway. Communication from the NHS is still terrible, with Mum only being told important information well after Dad comes home.

Meanwhile, I have now completely sold out, and am once again a full time employee of another company. But at least I got them to let me keep my company going, in case I want to work on side projects. At least my income is secure, even though it's been reduced by a heartbreaking amount.

Dad Returns

Dad is finally home from hospital, and now the new normal begins. I think everyone's just glad he's back!

I know it's sacrilege to speak ill of the National Health Service, especially during the pandemic, but it's been evident since Dad first went into hospital that organisation and communication... should be improved. We're trying to get Mum more help with Dad, as it's quite a lot of work, especially at Mum's age. Let's hope today brings some news.

Pandemic, What Pandemic?

Dad is still in hospital, but hopefully we should be able to see him tomorrow.

The Lymington Seafood Festival was held over the weekend. You needed a ticket this year, so that they could control the crowd size. But to be honest, it was absolutely packed, so if anyone there had the virus, I'm pretty sure the whole town will now. Which is a shame, as apparently we're one of the lucky parts of the country that supposedly has quite low numbers. Maybe that's why the whole thing went ahead.
