Silly Sausage

I had the hump with Waitrose this morning.  I went to get the sausages I like, only to find they didn't have them. I asked a shop lady if they had been removed from stock, and she said to check online. After I got home I had a look around and realised that they did, in fact, have them. They've just changed their packaging. I wish all problems were solved that easily.

Still Trying

I've got three ongoing projects at the moment, trying to pass the driving test, moving my things into storage, and backing up old tapes. Oh man, am I a wild and crazy guy.

The storage is going to be a bit of a tight fit, but I suppose for the money it's costing, I should be using as much of the space as I can. It's not like I'm going to be sleeping in there or anything. Another reason I chose to go with the people I did was for 24 hour access. Which is handy when we want to take things over on a sunday afternoon and they are closed, but it's all going to be so tightly packed, it's not like I can just pop in and pick up something specific.

Driving Me Crazy

I've found that the driving test in this country does not test whether or not you can drive, but instead if your driving style matches what the instructor wants. My instructor feels I need many more lessons before I am ready.

This is going to prove far harder than I thought. Apparently, I accelerate too fast and brake "way too late". I also take unnecessary risks and show little regard to my fellow motorists. All habits I'm sure you'll recognise from South Florida, and all habits which I will need to expel from my driving, if I am to have any hope in the world of ever passing this infernal test.
