This year's Christmas is obviously going to be a bit different from previous years. Mum and I are going to volunteer at the nursing home where Dad stayed. We had been saying for years that we should volunteer at Christmas, as it's quite in the spirit of the season. I'm sure they'll need all the help they can get!
Not to bore anyone with tales from the gym, but this is a pretty big milestone.
When I was a boy, jumping rope was something only girls and Rocky Balboa did. So when I started CrossFit, and found that jumping rope was a big part of it, I had a lot of catching up to do. And it took me over a year to finally be able to be able to jump rope unbroken. But I still couldn't even do one double under, which is when you pass the rope underneath you twice per one jump.
I couldn't, until today.
