Reading
I'm waiting in Reading train station for my cousin, who is late as hell.
Jordan, how the hell Britain can be the world's 3rd fatest country I do not know. In the next two weeks, I'm gonna have legs like Rizzo. It's so much frickin walking. I have to walk everywhere. Ah well.
This week I'm gonna do the rounds and see the family and friends, so that next week I can go into the city and see the recruiters. I hope to start the job at the pub next week. But all the paperwork I'm gonna have to fill out to get social secruity numbers and things is gonna suck. It's all go this end.
Went out last night. It seems the dudes put in more effort than the girls when it comes to dressing up. I felt like I was in a music video or a vodka commercial. I'm gonna have to start mohawking my hair again.
This internet cafe is twice the price of the last one, and I can't get internet access in the place I'm staying because there's no landline. Arrgghh!
It's rather funny looking around here though, as all kids under ten seem to be stuck in some sort of timewarp where they all look, talk, and act exactly as I remember them all those years ago. But once they hit about 12, they all turn into these crazy-ass yob who look like they'll mug you for simply existing. Wich is a shame becuase everyone else is really friendly. Even the fuzz. I saw this program about highway police last night and man alive, they pull you over for going 2 miles over the speed limit. Crazy.
I'll keep you posted.
