Oop North

During the week of Christmas, we went up North to see Dan, Tom, & Melanie. It was great seeing them again, and I have to say how much I was impressed by everyone I met. There's a saying "it's grim up north" but I found the opposite to be true. Everyone was very friendly and they have somehow been able to keep their gorgeous pre-war architecture.

It also highlighted just how snobbish people can be down south.
