Collapse

Yesterday, the district and circle lines were down, so I had to walk home. Just as I was coming to the road on which I live, it started to rain. "Made it just in time" I thought to myself. Shortly after getting inside and having my tea, I heard what sounded like a massive thunderclap, the kind I had not heard in years. Part of me even thought maybe it was an attack by the Russians/Germans/Decepticons.

It was neither. The Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue had it's roof collapse and over 70 people were injured. This is the second time in my life I've been sitting at home and heard an explosion of some sort.
