Prepped For The Heat

Everyone keeps saying we don't need air conditioning in this country, but the last five years or so have proved that for at least a few weeks a year, it's probably a good idea. I have a small one for the bedroom, but went I was at Mum's during the last heat wave, I was concerned about how hot it was, and the potential health effects. So now Mum has a large A/C unit which can keep most of the bungalow nice and cool. Naturally, the next week we go back to autumn weather again, but it's nice to know it's there if we need it!
