The Departing Summer

The Times reckons this was the best summer ever. While I personally think the best 'Post-Berlin Wall' summer was '94, with everything that happened I can see where they are coming from. The Jubilee, Murray in the Wimbledon finals, the success of the olympics, not just from the athletes, but from everyone pulling together to make them a success. It shows we still have it in us. Sort of.

Still can't beat '94 with The Lion King and all that great music!
